In short (updated October 2026): eTravel Pass registration is done online and free of charge at etravel.gov.ph or in the eGovPH app, within 72 hours before you arrive in or leave the Philippines. It is required from all arriving passengers and crew and from departing Filipino passengers. Have your passport and flight details ready: the form takes a few minutes and ends with a QR code.
What is eTravel Pass registration?
eTravel is the Philippine Travel Information System, the government’s single online declaration for people entering and leaving the country. One registration provides the data needed by the Bureau of Immigration, the Bureau of Quarantine (health declaration) and the Bureau of Customs (baggage and currency declaration). It is a declaration, not a visa.

Registration checklist
- Passport: number, nationality, expiry date.
- Personal data: full name as in the passport, date of birth, sex, contact number, email.
- Travel data: arrival or departure date, airline and flight number (or vessel), port of arrival or departure.
- Address: where you will stay in the Philippines or your home address.
- Health declaration: recent illness or contact with sick people.
- Customs declaration: goods and cash above the limits (PHP 50,000 or the equivalent of USD 10,000 in foreign currency).
No document upload or payment is needed. Use only etravel.gov.ph: the government does not charge for eTravel.
How to register step by step
- Open etravel.gov.ph (or the eGovPH app) no earlier than 72 hours before your trip and sign in with your email.
- Choose Arrival or Departure and the means of travel (air or sea).
- Fill in the travel, health and customs sections and check every field against your passport.
- Submit and save the QR code (screenshot, download or print).
- Show it to the airline before boarding and to officers at the airport or seaport.
Editing and repeat trips
You can correct your data through “Edit Registration” until the Bureau of Quarantine and the Bureau of Immigration have processed and verified it. For later trips you do not register from scratch; you update your details in the same way. Crew members use the “Registered Crew” option.
What your QR code means
Green: proceed to immigration. Red: further inspection by the Bureau of Quarantine, issued for incomplete or incorrect data or if you were sick or exposed to a sick person in the past 30 days. Show only one QR code. A lost code can be retrieved at etravel.gov.ph/search with your reference number and date of birth.
